What really stands out to me about Microblink is how it handles the 'real world.' Most tools look great in a demo, but Microblink actually works when the lighting is bad or the user has a shaky hand. It catches things like glare or blur that usually trip up OCR.

I also appreciate how 'finished' their SDKs feel. Integration is smooth, and because the data comes back clean and normalized, it’s easy to plug straight into our fraud and KYC systems. They also clearly get the UX side of things, fast captures and fewer retries mean people actually finish the onboarding process instead of giving up. Plus, the fact that it processes data on-device is a huge win for privacy; it makes the compliance conversation so much easier when you aren't sending sensitive info to the cloud.
